Overview

Barcelona and the wider Costa Brava region are very popular destinations for a huge variety of tours: MFL, Art and Design, Fashion and Food Technology or Reward and Enrichment trips.

Costa Brava has retained its authentic Spanish character and its location just north of Barcelona means the city's incredible sights are just a short journey away. A visit to Port Aventura theme park is also very popular with most schools.

Our Suggested Itinerary

  1. Day 1

Flight to Barcelona then transfer by private coach to the lovely seaside town of Calella.

Spend your first afternoon exploring the town, visit the beautiful Calella Lighthouse, take a tour of Parque Dalmau, or visit one of Calella’s beaches.

  2. Day 2

Enjoy a day at the beach in the charming Costa Bravan seaside town of Tossa del Mar!

Peek into the past with a visit to Els Ametllers Roman Villa which dates back to the 1st century AD. It takes it name from the Catalan word for ‘almond tree’!

Then visit Tossa de Mar’s medieval ramparts, which are some of the best-preserved in the region. The medieval town itself is a charming labrinyth of cobbled streets.

Spend some time visiting the lovely local shops and then relax on Tossa de Mar’s sandy beach!

  3. Day 3

Spend the day at one of Europe’s largest theme parks, the incredible PortAventura boasts countless rides, water experiences, attractions and shows.

  4. Day 4

Head into Barcelona before your flight home.

Visit Parc Güell: designed by Gaudí and architect Josep Maria Jujol, this park spans 20 hectares and is home to a variety of wacky Gaudí-designed architecture.

Then pop to Barcelona’s most famous food market, La Boquería, which boasts a strikingly grand entrance, and the sheer scale and diversity of the products for sale are breathtaking.

Spend some leisure time on La Rambla; the city’s most vibrant artery is both a tourist magnet and a window into Catalan culture. A stroll here is pure sensory overload!

Return flight from Barcelona back to the UK.
