Our Suggested Itinerary

  1. Day 1

Flight from UK to Copenhagen, private airport transfer to your accommodation.

This evening includes free time around the waterfront in Nyhavn, famous for its iconic multi-coloured canalside houses.

  2. Day 2

Start your time in Copenhagen in the past! Step back in time at Frederik’s Church, an 18th-century Lutheran church with the largest dome in Scandinavia!

You’ll then head out onto the water on a guided tour boat trip around the harbour and canal system, a unique way to spot the key landmarks!

There is then some free time in Freetown Christiania, an intentional community and commune known for its anarchist vibe!

  3. Day 3

Spend the morning at Amager Beach, from here you can spot a windmill park powering Copenhagen, a bridge connecting Denmark and Sweden, as well as a small lagoon! If visiting in colder months, this can be exchanged for an indoor visit to the Designmuseum Danmark.

Rosenborg Castle is next on the agenda, visit this royal palace and get a close look at Denmark’s treasures- including the crown jewels!

Now it is time to brave The Round Tower, venture up its spiral ramp to be rewarded with an amazing panoramic view of the city.

To end your day, admire the cobble-stoned King’s New Square, dating back to 1907. Appreciate the statue of Christian V as well as the intricate floral displays that surround you in the square.

  4. Day 4

Christiansborg Palace awaits you, enjoy a guided tour around the seat of the Danish Parliament, Prime Minister’s Office and the Supreme Court of Denmark, all bundled within a former palace!

Stop for a shopping trip along Strøget, one of the longest pedestrian shopping streets with 1.1km of shops to peruse! From high-end to budget chains, there are restaurants, clothing stores, perfumeries and jewellery stores to choose from.

After you’ve got your shopping fill, capture some culture at SMK- The National Gallery of Denmark. Holding both Danish and international art, works from Matisse, Munch and Modigliani grace these walls.

Your final stop for today is Kastellet, one of the best-preserved fortresses in Northern Europe. Enjoy a guided tour around the pentagon-shaped fortress with bastions in the corners.

  5. Day 5

Your final day begins with a trip to the Copenhagen Botanical Garden. With 10 hectares of gardens as well as a butterfly house, there is plenty to explore before your journey home!

Private airport transfer and flight home to the UK.
