Overview
Known as the 'Sunshine State', Florida is an unforgettable destination for school science trips! Based in Orlando, this tour combines educational activities with the fun of theme parks.
Schools visiting the Disney Parks take part in YES programmes (Youth Education Series programmes) with many workshops geared towards science, and then tour the Kennedy Space Center - where they have an opportunity to become an astronaut for the day!
Our Suggested Itinerary

Day 1
Flight to Orlando and transfer to your accommodation for leisure time.

Day 2
Visit the Kennedy Space Centre. The admission includes the Space Shuttle Atlantis and Shuttle Launch Experience, IMAX 3D Space Films, Great Balls of Fire Exhibit, Angry Birds Space Encounter and viewing of the Rocket Garden.
Optional extra – Guided tour of the KSC or have lunch with an Astronaut!
Visit the Astronaut Hall of Fame.

Day 3
Visit one of Walt Disney World Resort's parks, Epcot, and take part in one of their Youth Education Series Programmes (YES Programme).
We recommend the The Evolution of Technology Programme: students will explore the attractions of Future World at Epcot to develop an understanding of how human needs and wants drive the development and acceleration of technology.

Day 4
Visit another one of Walt Disney World’s Resorts, Magic Kingdom, and take part in the Properties of Motion Physics Lab 301 YES Programme.
During this programme, students will explore the effects of centripetal force and test Newton's First Law of Motion using the attractions of Magic Kingdom Park as your learning lab.

Day 5
Spend the day enjoying the remaining two Walt Disney World Resort parks, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios!
Airport transfer and an overnight flight home.

Day 6
Arrive home.
Accommodation
There is a good choice of accommodation in the States suitable for school groups. Our schools normally stay at either the StaySky Suites I-Drive or the Hawthorn Suites Lake Buena Vista, we always quote on a no bed-sharing basis. Let us know if you have any particular favourites, otherwise we'll recommend the best option for you and your budget.
