Our Suggested Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Flight to Hamburg.

Transfer to accommodation, and free time to settle in and explore.

  2. Day 2

Visit to a German national research centre (DESY) to learn about particle accelerators that are used to investigate the structure of matter.

Free time at the heart of the city, the Jungfernstieg promenade – a diverse connection between the Inner Alster Lake and its surrounding shops and attractions!

Visit Hamburg’s impressive Rathaus - the city’s parliament and senate assemble here!

  3. Day 3

Visit to the Museum der Arbeit, where your students will learn all about working and living over the last 150 years.  Join a guided tour to explore the social cultural and economic effects of industrialisation.

Relax in the Hamburger Stadtpark.  With more than 150 hectares, it has become know as a true "multicultural location" to city’s locals!

Enjoy an educational, laser show performance at the Hamburg Planetarium.  Under the dome awaits a "multimedia orchestra", ready to immerse students in a cosmic, all-round environment of images, sound and live performance.

  4. Day 4

Morning cruise around the Port of Hamburg – one of the world's most flexible, high-performance universal ports! Hop aboard a cruise around the port to learn all about its history and trade.

Free time at the port for lunch – we'd recommend the city’s famous "Fischbrötchen”, which is commonly eaten in Hamburg due to the region's proximity to the North and Baltic Seas!

    Return flight home.
