Our Suggested Itinerary
-
Day 1
Flight from UK to Tenerife with a coach transfer to your hotel before heading for a meal with your group.
-
Day 2
Travel to Mount Teide, one of the tallest volcanoes in the world! Hitch a cable car ride to the top to experience unrivalled views of volcanic landscapes, 3,555m up!
Then, head to Playa Jardín, a black volcanic sand beach surrounded by local plant life, waterfalls and caves, designed by César Manrique.
Next on the agenda is exploring the beautiful town of Puerto de la Cruz, with its variety of shops and international gastronomy offerings, it’s the perfect place to wind down before dinner!
-
Day 3
Today starts with an adventure deep below the surface in La Cueva del Viento, one of the world’s longest volcanic tunnels. Experience this underground world like no other before making your way to Placita del Express Jardín, a colourful corner of the world to sit and eat your lunch.
The adventure continues at Piramides de Güímar, six pyramids made from lava stone in an ethnographic park central to the study of the region’s culture and nature.
-
Day 4
Make your way to Bioclimatic Village ITER, a unique collection of eco-friendly houses sandwiched perfectly between mountains and the sea.
Head into Los Gigantes for some souvenir shopping in the main plaza. But then, it’s time to head out to sea! See Tenerife’s coastline from a whole new perspective, surrounded by sightings of whales and dolphins. If you wish, you could even take a dip!
-
Day 5
Round out your trip with an excursion to Finca Las Margaritas Banana Experience, a working banana plantation with links to topics of globalisation and the agricultural industry. Plus, some tasty treats to try at the end!
Then, it’s time to head home, flight from Tenerife to UK.
